Oldencraig Sixtus is a ready-to-go Prix st George horse. This 10 year old son of Saryno (whom is out of Sandro Hit lineage) his training inter I/inter II level at home and is showing a great natural aptitude for the work and touching on the Grand Prix work. Sixtus would be ideal for a Junior/Young rider or and adult.
Sixtus is a very eye catching black gelding with an excellent bloodline. His sire Saryno was also a prestigious performance horse. Saryno is a particularly elegant and eye catching chap with impressive radiance, breed, character and nobility. Sarynos’ sire is the eye catching Stedinger out of Sandro Hit/Bold Fantasy His dam, Wanja, is a preferred breeder of performance. The excellent Wanja is a modern-type mare with a quality exterior and wonderful movement, especially a big overstep and an easy, large trot.
Sarynos’ grand sire Sandro Hit is one of the very few stallions to become a legend in their own life time. His fans point to the charisma and presence of his offspring and their fashionable dark colouring, there are some very successful FEI level Sandro Hits. The most successful have been Dorothee Schneider’s two: her Rio ride, Showtime FRH (winnings €101,072) and St Emilion (winnings €49,197. The 2017 Hanoverian Stallion Book lists 13 dressage competitors with earnings of €10,000 or more. There were three by Sandro Hit in the dressage competition at Rio, and rather surprisingly, the stand out star of the cross country was another Sandro Hit, Santano II ridden by Christopher Burton. Sandro Hit’s dam, Loretta has been an excellent stallion producer – bred to Don Schufro, she produced Diamond Hit who was Reserve World Champion Five Year Old Dressage horse and Bundeschampion in 2002; bred to the Rohdiamant son, Royal Dance, she produced Royal Hit, the 1-c premium stallion of the 2002 Oldenburg stallion licensing, and now a successful sire in his own right.
Sandro Hit has five representatives on the first entries for Rio list, his son, Sir Donnerhall (Donnerhall) has two, while two other sons, Sandreo (Flemmingh) and Stedinger (Landadel), each have one. His most prominent representative is the new combination in contention for the German team, Dorothee Schneider and Show Time.
