Rising Star has three correct, active paces and is happily working at Elementary level. Her sire Rascalino won the Adelheidsdorf performance test in 2004. He got the knockout score of 153.37 in the dressage part and a very good 103.56 in the jumping part. Rascalino’s sire Rotspon is another top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. Rising Star’s dam Sinalco Cola descends from the Hanoverian stallion Sherlock Holmes by Salvano who is also the grandsire of Anky Van Grunsven's Olympic gold medal winning mount Salinero. Sherlock Holmes was the overall 2nd placed stallion out of 43 with a total score of 145.49, with dressage score 141.14 and jumping 131.76 in Adelheidsdorf 1992. He so far got 8 approved stallions including 4 approved for the Hanoverian breed which are Sherwood, Shakespeare in Love, Sir Schölling and Sam Steele.

Rising Star is a star in the making. She is perfectly well put together for Dressage as well as breeding. She has got incredible subtle, elastic and expressive paces. Her lateral work is unbelievable with great crossing as well as fantastic knee action. She has been professionally produced and is a very honest horse. She is very easy to handle and would also be suitable for a less advanced rider. She is good in a trailer and horsebox, good to shoe, clip, box and jumps. She also hacks well alone or in company.
