SHOW ASSISTANT
We are looking for an additional member of the office team to assist in organising and running show days and organise and manage lecture demos whist assisting the other Show Secretaries. This will involve working on affiliated and unaffiliated Dressage, Show Jumping and Showing competitions, which run on a weekly basis.
A proven track record in working in a busy Show environment is essential. Knowledge of the Equine Industry and, in particular, Dressage is desirable.
You will also help out with general administration relating to the day-to-day running of the Equestrian Centre and Tack Shop when required.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel etc) is essential, along with an excellent telephone manner and high level of customer service.
Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines are a must. A good sense of humour would also be useful!
This role will also require flexibility on show dates and some weekend work.

RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
We are looking for an additional member of our office team to carry out general Administration and Reception duties.
This will involve answering the telephone, dealing with clients, dealing with incoming emails/letters and client/customer queries, booking in lessons, general administration for all OEC business, personal errands for the owner, assisting in the Tack Shop when required and covering days off and holidays in the Tack Shop.
You MUST have an excellent telephone manner, be IT literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Explorer etc), highly organised, be able to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise, be meticulous with paperwork, have a proven track record of working in a busy environment, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Equine knowledge is desirable but not essential. A good sense of humour would be useful!
Role is part-time (10-4pm) 5 days a week, to include one weekend day a week. Good rates of pay. Accommodation available if required, plus other benefits.

ADVANCED RIDER & INSTRUCTOR
Due to our popularity Oldencraig Equestrian Centre has a position for a full time advanced rider & instructor to join our team. You will receive the following:
- 5½ working days per week

GENERAL
Oldencraig Equestrian Centre always welcomes enquiries from working students from anywhere in the world. Improve your riding whilst receiving professional training in all aspects of stable management, stay longer to obtain National Vocational Qualifications levels I, II and III, (offered in conjunction with Coulsdon College, Abingdon Whitney & Keiths Colleges) and prepare for British Horse Society examinations.
Dressage enthusiasts are offered the opportunity of training with Vicki Thompson-Winfield, resident Olympic dressage rider and trainer at the Centre. Vicki is also 16 times National Champion.
Students are offered cottage style on-site accommodation that includes newly fitted kitchen, shower room, spacious bedrooms, private washing and drying facilities and a separate tea room. They are able to bring their own horses and have regular opportunities to compete in dressage and show jumping, both at the Centre and outside competitions. The students also have their own heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ area and changing room so when they are not working they can enjoy the leisure facilities created just for them.
